In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of international transactions between foreign companies and Japanese companies, and advance of foreign companies into Japan. Hence, international legal services based on an appropriate understanding of business laws in Japan and foreign countries are increasingly demanded and needed.
The “BLJ” of BLJ Law Office stands for “Business Laws in Japan”. We do our utmost to support foreign companies and foreign capital corporations in developing business in Japan by providing legal services related to Japanese laws in English, Chinese and other languages.

We provide legal services such as drafting and reviewing of various agreements (including agreements in English, Japanese, Chinese and other languages) related to international transactions between foreign companies and Japanese companies.
We also offer legal assistance services including investigation of legal procedures, legal requirements, and preparation of legal documents for advance of foreign-capitalized corporations into Japan. We also collaborate with other experts such as foreign lawyers, when necessary.
Companies Act, Intellectual Property Laws, Information Technology Laws, Financial Laws, Anti-Monopoly Act, Product Liability Act, Insolvency Laws, Consumer Laws, Labor Laws, Tax Laws and Other Business Laws in Japan
We provide legal services such as investigation and review of various legal issues with respect to Japanese laws, drafting and reviewing of various agreements, guidance of shareholders meetings, guidance of compliance, and due diligence on Japanese companies.
Settlement of disputes
We provide legal attorney services for lawsuits, mediation, arbitration, etc. in Japan, legal assistance services with respect to lawsuits, mediation, arbitration, etc. in foreign countries, and response and handling of international commercial disputes. We also collaborate with other experts such as foreign lawyers, when necessary.
